TAKE INVENTORY

We want to run from a situation we find unbearable or full of pain... We just want to runaway from the inconveniences it brings and possibly run into another situation as quickly as possible not minding whether this new place is better, a direct replica of where we left or closely related to it. We just want to run!

You'll just want to run out and quickly run into another situation if you don't take an inventory of where you're coming from and why you left.

Why did you leave that relationship?
Why did you leave that job?
Why did you leave home?
Why did you drop out from that deal?
Why did you leave your clique?
Why did you leave your church?

You need to answer the question "Why" by taking inventory of
where you're coming from,
why you left and
where you're headed or will head next.

If this is not properly done, you get a repeat of what you're running from.

It's okay to walk away from situations and persons that don't serve our soul's purpose, but a detailed understanding and analysis of why we left will help us not to repeat the cycle.

If you left your church cause they weren't preaching the gospel, be sure your next stop has that gospel.

If you left your relationship because your partner was abusive or ungodly, be sure your next one isn't a repeat of the former.

Walking away from a situation gets lonely and we just want to settle at the next stop or lean on the available shoulder. But sweetie, it doesn't solve the problem.

Go back to your Memory Lane. Not to droll over or live in the past. But to take inventory of what really happened and what shouldn't repeat itself again in your next stop.

Have a wonderful day and live fearlessly
Love you large.
