Ever been betrayed before by someone you love and gave your trust?

If you haven't, I pray you don't experience that, but if you have, I bet you know how that feels, right? 

When God made us, He empowered us and gave us dominion over everything on earth. I'm sure you know how powerful that is. And for God to trust us
with such a responsibility means, He's certain we're capable of handling it.

Every dream God has given you and that purpose for which He has created you, was done out of trust that you can handle it. With that responsibility, He has also assigned people He intends you to reach, with what He has given you.

So imagine, a gift someone wanted to send across to you was given to your trusted friend and he or she either decides to destroy it or willingly refuses to deliver it to you even when this fellow knows how much of help this gift is going to be to you. How will you feel?

Imagine this one gift that will change your life for good never got to you, just because the person who received it handled it without caution.

This is how it is with what God has given us. We're not exactly here for ourselves. We're here for each other and to help each other become what God has called us to be. Why hoard yours and hinder someone else's progress? Why betray that soul who will benefit from your gift? Why betray God who trusted you with that gift to deliver?

Pushing gets hard, but it's not an excuse to quit. Lives are depending on your courage, souls are waiting to be reached by what you do.... How long are you going to wait around and delay the progress of others by not taking responsibility?

If you did quit, or you're contemplating it, or in the process already.... I hope you now have reasons to go back to your post. Lives are depending on you, don't take this for granted.

Hello Darlings,
How's your week going?

As I'm posing in this car, that is how I plan to pose when I finally buy my car this year, lol..... Say Amen!

Okay! Let me quickly share with you certain truths you should know about fear, so that in trying to master fear, you don't beat the air. Keep this information very close, it helps you to better understand how fear works and how you can handle it.

TRUTH #1
Fear will never go away as long as you continue to grow.

Growth is very constant and while you grow, you'll always meet fear. What this means is that, as long as you continue to you continue to push yourself out into the world, continue to stretch your capabilities, continue to take valid risks in achieving your goals and continue to strive to break your past records, you will continue to experience fear.
This is true because, to launch on higher tasks, higher courage is needed and you'll not need courage if fear isn't staring you in the face. So get used to this truth about fear and adjust your mind to it so you don't spend all your life trying to get rid of fear.

TRUTH #2
 The only way to get rid of fear is to do that which you fear.

Once you spot something you want to do and fear shows up to stop you, the way you win over fear is to go ahead and do that stuff and once you do that, you would have conquered fear.

TRUTH #3
To feel better about yourself, you need to do that which you fear.

Doing that which you fear comes with a feel of liberation and power. When you make something happen or do something that really scares you, the fear of that situation leaves and your self confidence is boosted.

TRUTH #4
Everyone struggles with fear!

It's important you know, we're all in this together, so you don't feel alone and beat yourself up. Fear is something we all struggle with, but the difference is that some have mastered how fear works and they're not letting fear stand in their way anymore.

TRUTH #5
Fear is not a signal to retreat, rather it's a signal to move ahead.

Fear points you to what you can do but stands in the way of your achieving that. So, once fear points you to a possibility, take over from him and go ahead to do that which you fear.

TRUTH #6
Its better to do that which you fear than live with the underlying fear that comes from a feeling of the unknown.

You will never know if you don't try! So instead of living with the torment of "what if it went well" do that which you fear and live with the result. It's harder being scared of what you don't know.

TRUTH #7
We can't run away from fear, but we can transform it into a companion that accompanies us in all our exciting adventures.

Fear is an unwanted guest that will always show up and try to make himself comfortable. If you brace yourself with this truth, all you need do when it shows up is to, give it a rightful place and that is the backseat while you take the lead.

Be conversant with these truths and try to keep it in mind always. That way, you can handle fear and all its tricks.

Hello darlings,
How have you been? Slaying your goals fearlessly I suppose? What challenges are you facing that is keeping you from following through with your resolutions? You know you can always share right? Yeah, you can.... I'm here for you 😄

How did you feel about the title of today's post? Do you agree with me?

Well, maybe you can answer that when I'm done.

To our gist for today,
Just like you have your hands, legs, head, etc "fear" is part of the package. You remember David's song in the book of psalm? "I bless you lord for I am FEARFULLY and Wonderfully made"

So you see? Fear is part of the package.

God knows our abilities as human beings created in His own image, so He knows man can achieve anything. He had to include fear to guide us and also prevent us from threading a path that could destroy us. This is why there are things you don't easily jump at no matter how fearless you are.

Fear had to be there so we can depend on Him and trust Him for our safety. It is His way of drawing us back to Himself... This is why Solomon said "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man"
Ecc 12:13

Why am I saying this?
Fear is not going anywhere! Yeah I said that...

But then, this is why we need to master how fear works so that whenever we're faced with it we can handle it. Fear has so many shades and this is why when you feel you have dealt with fear of public speaking, what of fear of success or failure? Or fear of taking decisions? Or letting go of the past? Or taking big steps? Etc.

Fear mastery starts with the fear of God. If you fear God you'll be able to trust Him for safety and you also gain boldness, power and sound mind.
2 Tim 1:7 says "for He has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound mind"

This sounds contradictory right? "He has not given us the spirit of fear".....i'll explain. When you come into a relationship with God and then begin to reverence (Him) as a father and a friend. He puts His spirit within you and that spirit of God in you enables you to live powerfully and fearlessly because God Himself is Fearless. If you carry His spirit in you, you should be as fearless as He is.

We have the ability to dominate and rule this earth, that was God's plan from creation and you can't fully access this power on your own without the spirit of God empowering you to rise and reign.

Having started a relationship with God, you proceed to "renew your mind".... This has to do with replacing unhealthy beliefs that's not in line with the word of God with healthy beliefs. You begin to think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous, praise, positive, empowering, etc.

So when you have these thoughts handy, you can always deal with fear when it shows up.

WALK THE TALK!

Happy New Year guys....
So grateful to God for the rare privilege of storming into the new year full of grace, strength, courage and Wisdom.

2016 may not have been so awesome, but it's gone right? So just move on and face the dance of 2017.

For most of us, we have written down our goals, made our resolutions and written down plans on how to make the year a great one.

I just want to tell you that, while it's good to talk about your dreams and have them written down, the major work is to execute those plans, else all you have written will only be a write up.

To really get our goals rolling on execution, we need to deal with the enemy that tries to hold us down and that enemy is one I've always talked about "Uncle Fear"

Don't let fear stop you.
To deal with this fear, just do that which you dear and you'll see you would have taken care of that particular fear.

Give yourself room to be your very best this year and use all that God has given you to serve others. In serving others, you're invariably serving yourswlf and pleasing God likewise.

Please WALK THAT TALK... it shouldn't end with talking, take the necessary steps towards execution and you'll see how different this year will be for you.
